my pre-blog blog

so i figured that one of new year's resolutions would be to start and maintain a blog. i think it would be helpful to me in some way, and also give people a chance to catch up on my life since i am not very good at keeping in touch. so, a shout out to all of my friends as they venture through my attempt at life by my side... via blogging. starting january 1st, of course.
